In today’s lesson, we discussed dairy products, particularly focusing on the production of milk in Malta. We learned that there are over 90 farms in Malta producing around 600,000 liters of milk daily, which is essential for both household consumption and the creation of various dairy products. The process of pasteurization was emphasized as a method to eliminate harmful bacteria from the milk before it reaches consumers. Additionally, the lesson introduced various types of milk available, including local and imported options, and highlighted the importance of understanding dairy production and products for creating diverse meal options.
