Hello children, how are you? Today, we discussed traditional Maltese dishes, focusing on the popular “stew” (stuffat) that frequently features pork (laΓΒ§am tal-majjal) or rabbit (fenek). We also explored the preparation of Maltese pies (torti), often filled with a mixture of ricotta and spinach, and the unique baked pasta dish “timpana,” featuring pasta mixed with meat sauce and baked with a pastry cover. These dishes reflect Malta’s culinary heritage and are served in many restaurants on the islands.
