In this lesson, we discussed the process of installing a wireless network card in a computer that doesnβt have a wall port for a wired connection. Before starting the installation, students were instructed to prepare a complete checklist and a test plan, as the network card is an electrostatic-sensitive device requiring careful handling. We also emphasized the importance of checking component compatibility and making a backup of the system prior to making any changes. Finally, we reviewed different methods to test the functionality of the network card once it has been installed, including using system information and device manager tools.
