In today’s lesson, the students explored the themes from the book “Julia Donn Alzon,” focusing on the farm and its animals. The class sang a Maltese song titled “ฤ anni l-Bidwi” and discussed two specific animals: cows (baqar) and goats (mogฤงลผa), highlighting their importance in milk production. It was noted that there are around six thousand cows in Malta and Gozo that provide milk and dairy products, which include butter, cheese, and yogurt. The lesson emphasized the relationship between cows, their calves, and the quality of milk produced, fostering an understanding of the agricultural system on the farm.
