In today’s lesson on Family and Child Development, we began discussing the importance of understanding the stages of child development from conception through to school age. We explored the roles of both parents in nurturing their child’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs, emphasizing the significance of stable relationships and financial stability when planning a family. Additionally, we highlighted the importance of age-appropriate toys and the value of play in child development. Students were encouraged to reflect on important factors to consider when planning for children, such as relationship stability and financial readiness.
