In today’s lesson on shopping practices, we explored various types of shopping outlets found in our islands, discussing their advantages and disadvantages. We began by looking at discount stores, which offer products at lower prices due to bulk buying and often provide delivery services and parking facilities. We also examined open markets (or “il-bejja tal-monti”), highlighting that they allow customers to buy from multiple vendors in one location, thus reducing costs. However, challenges include limited return options for items purchased and the necessity of checking product prices across different stalls.
