In today’s lesson, we discussed the concept of job finance and its implications, particularly focusing on the topic of looking for a summer job. Students were introduced to various occupations such as accountant, artist, astronaut, and surgeon, and were encouraged to think about the reasons people work, including earning income, achieving job satisfaction, and fulfilling obligations. Additionally, the lesson touched on the importance of gaining practical experience through employment, reminding students that while education is free in Malta, studying abroad often requires financial investment. Lastly, we explored different methods of applying for jobs, including online applications and submitting CVs.
