In this lesson on data handling revision, students worked on questions from past benchmark papers focusing on Italian tourist statistics in Malta during the last five months of the year. Using a pictograph where each luggage symbol represents 2,000 tourists, students filled in missing data, identified the month with the highest tourist influx (August), and calculated the average number of tourists per month. The collective total of 45,000 tourists was divided by the 5 months to obtain the monthly average.
