In today’s Chinese lesson, we focused on vocabulary related to transport and how to express the beginning, duration, and completion of lessons. We learned that “shang ke” means to start or be during a lesson, while “shiak” means to finish the lesson. Additionally, “shang shueh” translates to being at school or starting to study, and “feng shui” means to finish school. Finally, “shang ban” indicates starting work or being during the workday, with “sia ban” signifying the end of the workday.
