In today’s session, students will engage in two simple crafts focused on bumblebees to prepare for upcoming storytelling sessions. They will create a paper plate bee using yellow and black paint, practicing skills such as grasping a paintbrush and applying pressure to create designs. Additionally, students will make feelers for the bee using painted clothespins or black cardboard, enhancing motor skills as they attach the elements themselves. Required materials include a paper plate, yellow and black paint, pom-poms, googly eyes, and various items for making spots, such as a cork or potato.
