During this lesson, students learn how to carry out a stocktaking exercise; first the tools needed are gathered, then the stock is organized and lastly, the stock is counted and recorded.
During this lesson students will be introduced to stocktaking and learn about its importance. Inventory management, discovering loss of stock, awareness of the condition of stock and discovering product performance or issues in pricing strategies are discussed. Students will also learn about the stocktaking procedure.
During this lesson students will learn about different propagation techniques, the techniques used to create new plants. Students will learn about sexual and asexual types of propagation. This lesson includes; seeding, stem cutting, stem tuber cutting and rhizome cutting as examples of propagation techniques.
During this lesson, students will learn about grafting methods and the upkeep of the grafted plant for bud grafting, cleft grafting and grafting using the drilling method.
During this lesson, students will learn how to clean the cages of mammalian pets, how to feed mammalian pets and also how to handle Guinea pigs and hamsters.
