What Should You Expect From This Lesson?

The objective of this lesson is for students to understand the meaning of courage, be able to differentiate between moral and physical courage, and to differentiate between courageous and foolish behaviours.

How To Carry Out This Lesson At Home:

Step 1: What does courage mean? Think about and write a definition (the meaning) of courage.

Step 2: Watch and listen to the song ‘All about Courage’: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBiDjhgntWA

Step 3: Read the ‘Courage and Bravery’ note.

Step 4: Listen again to the song ‘All about Courage’. It mentions many examples of courage. Try to differentiate between moral courage and physical courage examples.

Step 5: What Does Courage Look Like? Draw a picture of courage in action. Title your picture by completing the sentence “Courage is….”.

Step 6: Take a photo of your picture and send it to your teacher.

Step 7: Work out Activity Sheet 1 and send it to your teacher.
