How To Carry Out This Lesson At Home:
Step 1
Do you think animals have feelings just like you? How do you know that? Write your answers on a sheet of paper or a Word Document.

Think about the following questions:
a. What is a stray animal?
b. Do you have them in your neighbourhood?
c. How did these animals end up in the streets?
d. What happened to the dog in this video?
e. Do you think that what happened to the dog is fair?
f. How do you think that the dog felt when he was abandoned?
g. If you decide to get a pet, is it better to buy one from a pet shop or is it better to adopt a stray pet? Why?
h. Why should owners never abandon their pets?
i. What does “A Pet is for Life” mean?
Step 4
Create a poster, using a blank copybook sheet, showing a picture of your favourite pet. On the poster write the sentences: “Don’t buy. Adopt” and “A pet is for life”
