What Should You Expect From This Lesson?

At the end of the topic, students will be able to describe the basic phases of the moon including new moon, first quarter, full moon, last quarter. They will also be able to explain that the sun is one of many stars in our galaxy. Students will have researched about the Milky Way galaxy and found out about scientists who made discoveries related to outer space e.g. Hans Lippershey (optical telescope).
