What Should You Expect From This Lesson?
This lesson explains how one can identify different electronic components from their symbol and how they actually look in real life.
How To Carry Out This Lesson At Home:
Follow the PowerPoint presentation slide after slide to familiarize yourself with the different electronic components. Watch the video after slide 7 to get to know about logic gates and how they work. After doing so, I suggest you download the PDF document. These are some notes on this criteria. Go through the notes and try to fill the blanks. Remember that symbols have to be drawn neatly in pencil. As an end to this lesson I suggest the following activity: Go on the internet and find images of the different electronic components. Print these images and glue them on a chart. Finally write the name of each component beneath the respective image. This chart will help you throughout the unit, since you must be able to identify all the components.
