What Should You Expect From This Lesson?
This lesson contains a reading text about diving. It focuses on extracting and summarising the main points from a text. The pack contains the same lesson pitched at 3 different levels, i.e. Tracks 1, 2 and 3.
How To Carry Out This Lesson At Home:
1. This lesson is intended for Year 7 students and focuses on READING.
2. Students should read the instructions on page 2 of the attached document. Please note that there are 3 sets of instructions, one for each track. In each, students read the text, identify the topic sentences, answer questions, and summarise the main ideas in point or long form, depending on track.
3. Students are encouraged to read for at least half an hour a day.
