What Should You Expect From This Lesson?
During this activity student will be given the opportunity to draw a pictograph, and to talk about it.
How To Carry Out This Lesson At Home:
1. Download Activity Sheet 2.5.
2. Ask students: How many castles have a yellow flag and a yellow door? For each castle they see, they need to draw their own castle near the yellow colour.
3. Step 2 is to be repeated for the other colours: blue, red and green.
4. Students shall then be encouraged to discuss their pictograph. (Examples: There is 1 castle with a yellow flag and a yellow door. The most popular castle colour is blue. The least popular is … There are more castles with a red flag and a red door than castles with a green flag and a green door. …).
