What Should You Expect From This Lesson?

In this lesson the student will build a small model house from a one-piece development.

How To Carry Out This Lesson At Home:

Solid shapes are all around us. A birthday present, for example, can be inside a cubic or a cylindrical package. We can use solid geometric shapes to build our own models. In this model we will combine a cuboid for the base and a triangular prism for the roof. You need to pay attention to some line types, as some special lines indicate the place where you fold the sides.

To cover this lesson please follow these steps:

1. Print page 3 in the attached worksheet.
2. Colour it using pencil colours and light shading techniques.
3. Cut and fold the development of the toy house.
4. You can now try your very own toy house design found on page 4!

Congratulations!

Now you can build a model town if you like!
