What Should You Expect From This Lesson?
This lesson deals with organising sentences into paragraphs. The task involves writing a description of a room using cohesive paragraphs. The pack contains the same lesson pitched at 3 different levels, i.e. Tracks 1, 2 and 3.
How To Carry Out This Lesson At Home:
1. This lesson is intended for Year 7 students and focuses on WRITING, with particular attention given to correct paragraphing.
2. Students use the prompts listed under their track to carry out the writing task, which involves describing the room shown in one of the pictures (tracks 1 and 2), or writing a description of one’s own room (track 3). Afterwards, an adult or older sibling should check their work using the provided marking criteria.
