Task 1: Who bit the cheese?
Practice being a forensic dentist!
The crime is that someone has taken a bite of your favourite cheese. All your family members are the suspects. Here is what you should do:
Leave the room and ask one family member to take a bite of thick cheese. Perform the activity suggested in this link and see whether you can identify who took the bite.

Task 2: Types of Human Teeth
Look in a mirror. How many different types of teeth do you have?
Watch this video to confirm whether you have spotted all the different types of human teeth. You will also discover what each type of tooth is called, and you will be reminded how to take good care of your teeth. After watching the video download the worksheet found in the resources section (on the right) and fill in the first activity.

Task 3: Functions of Human Teeth
Go through this sequence of interactive activities. Revise some of the things you have learnt in task 2 but pay special attention to the section ‘Types of Teeth’ which will teach you interesting facts about the function of each type of tooth. After going through these activities, fill in the second activity on the ‘Human Teeth’ worksheet.
